About the artist

Scott McFarland vit et travaille à Toronto, Canada. Son travail fait partie de plusieurs collections publiques comme celle du MoMA, du Musée J.Paul Getty, du Musée des Beaux-Arts du Canada, du SFMoMA, du Walker Art Center et du Victoria & Albert Museum. Ses œuvres ont été présentées au Musée des Beaux-Arts du Canada et à la Vancouver Art Gallery en 2009. En 2014, la Art Gallery of Ontario présente une exposition individuelle du travail de McFarland intitulée Snow, Shacks, Streets, Shrubs. Plus récemment, sa série Lens Cleaning a été inclue dans la tournée de l’exposition A Handful of Dust de David Campany (2019–21).
