Nana Wolke examines how systems of access and visibility stage encounters with desire, power, and control. Extracted from raw video footage, her work spanning painting, sound and installation originates from prompted actions and unscripted events that unfold within environments marked by social, architectural, and psychological thresholds. Moving between spaces of privilege and marginality, Wolke’s works hold the impermanence of exposure and the thrill of concealment. Wolke holds an MFA from Goldsmiths, University of London.
